The high utility, low burden Windguard is constructed from a proprietary ThruDark fabric carefully designed for its optimum ratio of weight to weatherproofing. This makes the hooded shell jacket ideal for packing down into a stuff sack when not required and it can easily be carried over long distances on multi-day expeditions.

The Windguard features mesh pockets for stowage of expeditions essentials but these can also be used to vent heat during periods of high activity in hot climates. A concealed mesh panel on the back of the jacket also enhances breathability without compromising on windproofing or durability. A structured, adjustable hood design enables maximum coverage and wind protection.
